The School of Architecture and Design at Wenzhou Kenyon University, which was established in memory of the late, well-known architect Michael Graves, is situated in the heart of the campus, facing the south side of the main entrance. This demonstrates that the College of Architecture and Design occupies a dominant position on campus and that its significance exceeds that of the North Side of the Library. From the start, the design was based on the overall scope of the campus to examine the design of the School of Architecture, to make it the "urban living room" of the campus, serving not just the School of Architecture and Design but also all students and faculty, the communication and sharing of the public space within the campus.
